hey everbody im new here and i have been playing guitar for a while but i need help gettin my soloing right can anyone help me
p.s. i like playing eric clapton type solos

Hallo!

It's very hard to describe!!
My tip is that you should practice scales like major/minor to get a feeling were every note is positioned. Learn the basic stuff like bending, vibrato, picking before you proceed to more advanced stuff.
It takes some time to learn but it's worth it.

keep listening to the main riff...and while ure at it, keep thinking of a melody that might fit in...then try it out on ur axe...

Hello,

Soloing can be a very difficult thing to learn on your own. Although it certainly can be done, a good teacher can definitely speed up your progress, as well as steer you away from potential pitfalls.

eric clapton- use the blues scale. and pentatonic. which is close to the same thing.

both of which are easy to learn and even easier to use. thats what alot of people use for improvs.


and keep in mind, alot of blues has to do with feeeel. theres a very certain feel you get when your playing blues. a constant rhythem that you should get with practice. but till then just learn those blues and pentatonic scales.

ok playing solo like eric clapton are difficult if you have been playing guitar for a while but you can try this trickgo to windows media player and in enhancements go to play speed sttings and you can make the song or solo go slower and den try to play
