I was wandering if any of you guys could help me with this.
The fan from my marshall MG50 makes a buzzing niose when i turn it on as if something is stopping it spinning properly. I tried removing the guard and cleaning the dust from it which worked for a while but the noise returned. I tried cleaning it again but it didn't work at all this time and the noise is worse than ever and it sounds like it isn't doing itself any good. Anyone got any ideas on what the problem is?

Did you try something like WD40?

Just a guess on my part, but it sounds like the bearings are gone or something.
Call Marshall's parts department and order a new fan. (maybe even check to see if they have a website where you can order parts)
And don't keep using the old one in the meantime. It's a slim chance but the extra friction could cause a fire.
You could also order one through a music store but you'll pay extra for it and end up waiting longer.
