people still write checks, though it's not that sort of process anymore. it's more of, they write the check, then we write their driver's license number on the check (so we can track them down if it bounces) then the check gets scanned by a computer thing, then it's done.. it still takes longer then just sliding a card through. but it's not quite that long of a process anymore.. though it still can get annoying.
