That reminds me of what happened on my trip to LA to visit my aunt a few years back....
It was about April, so it was pretty much perfect temperature in LA, like a not-too-hot Canadian summer. My mom and I were taking a walk around this really scenic hill, and this guy who we had met earlier (my aunt's neighbour) drove by and shouted "Pretty nice out, huh? I bet it's still snowing where you're from!! Hahahahahahaha!!!" Then he sped away. It was pretty lucky he did, I just about spit on him.
Later on, we were meeting another of my aunt's neighbours, this old Italian immigrant guy. We were like "Nice to meet you" and all he could say was "Move down here, huh? It's-a nice down here. It's so much better." All I could think was "Not really, everyone here's a jerk!"
