Maybe ethnocentric isnt the right word. I should understand why they came upon the ideas they have but I shouldnt necessarily see them as good or just reasons. Its kinda hard to find the motive of an action if you arent willing to look at the reason it was commited..... So yeah, bad word choice on my part.
