'Ello E'rebody

I got a digitech RP50 (yes the dinky three-quarter pounder), and it is equipped with auto-wah but it can be controlled by the use of a passive volume pedal.
My question: Would it be better to get a passive volume pedal or an authentic wah wah pedal, because I am somewhat skeptical of the RP50's sound.

thanks for you help

I personally would get an authentic wah, it has a great sound, certain nuances you only get with a real wah. Might I recomend buying a dunlop crybaby classic or 535q.

Oh yeah...STICK IT TO THE MAN!

I like digitech but I agree with bluesman. Go with a dunlop crybaby.
I am a constant evolving music machine. Oh Man, I just forgot what I was playing. Oh well, on to the next song.

I just bought an RP80 today, and I love its wah sound! Then again, I have only another Digitech wah pedal to compare it with - I've never played a Crybaby.

If at first you don't succeed, you are obviously not Chuck Norris.

Hey Cool,
I got a RP-80 too.
I like the WAH setting on it.

Here Is a patch made up for the WAH setting, At first I used it to play Voodoo Child but It can be used for Any Distorted wah sound.

Cheers, RSam, that's a great wah sound! It sounds pretty good with gain turned up as well.

if you are thinking of buying a wah pedal, dunlop cry babies are the best. go to your local music store and expiriment with a few, there are quite a bit of them, until you find one you like. you cant go wrong with a crybaby.
