I always figured intonation was extra to the scale length.
Has anyone else ever noticed this on a Gibson?

I measured a Les Paul nut to 12th fret at 12 5/16 and nut to middle of bridge at 24 5/8.
The guitar intonates and plays well.
I always figured intonation was extra to the scale length.
