Here's a whole tapping song I did for fun. I had just picked up my bass again so the bassline is a little well you'll see. For Soundclickers It's titled Tapping Practice.

For those who dispise such sites.

hmm i didnt like your tone so much. what did you record it with?

its my opinion that if your going to do slow tapping, it should be clean sounding. with reverb or chorus. its a bit harder to get a clean tap sound out of it, but it would be more pleasing to the ears.

the faster parts sounded good tho.

I just used my LP into my Spider II with a little delay direct to my Roland.

I quite liked it...havent heard much slow, melodic but distorted tapping...so at the very least it was fresh.

I prefer the feeble Jazz song you have up there...now that cool.

whats with the ninja obsession tho?
its weird, I've got it too...infact, I play in a ninja disco band...spread the ninja disco love

That's some cool tapping! Maybe it was just me, but I thought I heard a hint of a blues lick about a minute in, and that really grabbed me. You're a very tasteful soloist.
