Personaly I think most movies nowadays stink, hardcore. There is enough foreshadowing in them you can't be scared. At least for me anyway. I think the problem comes from watching scary movies as a kid. I think Jaws was one of the scariest movies I've watched but then again I was only 8 or so the first time I saw it so it had a big impact on my little mind. Watch Jaws now and you think, man how lame, that shark is soooo fake. The point I'm getting at is now I'm 31, and it's harder to be scarred. There isn't really anything that surprises me in movies anymore. The last movie I watched was House Of Wax. It was a decent film but the ending stunk.
