well that depends. What type of trem do you have? I've seen Mick Mars hold his guitar out in front of him and shake it up and down by the whammy bar but he has a double locking trem.
I am a constant evolving music machine. Oh Man, I just forgot what I was playing. Oh well, on to the next song. :rolleyes:

well i tested a strat...and i've never used one before...i tried yanking at it in any possible way but it doesn make any difference to the sound...

To pull it up, I use my picking hand elbow to hold the body, then just lift up on it enough to change the pitch. Other than that I just slam that biotch down, or on a serious note I push it down and up halfway, or slightly for some feedback.

someone asked me to explain how to use the wammy on their squire strat today and i was excited cuz i love wammy bars. so i was going to do a sweet divebomb and blow her away but much to my dismay it only went down likeee 3 whole steps TOPS.
