To get smashed on Tequilla:

Slice up some Lemons or Limes hell do both.

Lick your hand where your index and thumb join up.

Pour some salt there.

Lick off salt, slam shot bite on the lemon or lime wedge.

Only way to do it. Any other way is cheapening the drink.
