Engl are hellishly expensive, but awesome...If I could afford one, I'd buy it for sure

i dident think that they would be that expensive but im looking to spend around 1400 for a head...most of the prices i see are in euro's but the thing is that i really would like to try it out before i buy anything but they dont seem to be sold anywhere in the US

I'd probably go >here< if I were going to buy an Engl amp. Not sure what style you play, but you could get a Fireball, which is a single channel high gain head for around $1,200 US. I believe they have a bunch of soundclips on the site as well.
