"Sugar, We're Goin' Down"

Anyone heard this song? Is it just me or is the guy making every "word" ( if you can even call what he's saying words ) as he goes.

The guy is singing, you can tell, its not distorted, but he doesn't make any sense. This is far past the usual distorted vocals that you can't understand, this is like a new type of jibberish.

hmm i dont like the band, but if you play this song at a gig, all the little girls go crazy all over you, which is why i frequently do it.

he basically made one verse and repeated it a thousand times.

I have to agree, but the point is the guy isn't making any sense...at all! Like what are the actual lyrics? The only parts I can make out are "ooo" and "sugar we're going down swingin'"

(i just forgot the very beginning- but im sure its terribly cliche just like the rest of the song.)

I think Fall Out Boy makes us all swear for one reason or another.

They're named after a cartoon character within a cartoon (Atomic Man's partner in The Simpsons). How can you take that seriously????
It is an extremely rare occurance for me to say this about a band, as music is subject to opinion...but...THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!
I saw them on Leno and Connan. On both occasions they made me cry in loving memory of what was once good music.
And He DOESN'T sing!...Especially live, he can't even breathe right, and just makes muffled sounds!!!!

Fall Out Boy is a great band besides sugar were goin down and dance dance. their old stuff is really good.i can understand every word of that song.and they are not named after a simpsons charactor.they got their name at their second show ever and they said"what should our name be?" and some1 screamed "Fall Out Boy!"

Perhaps, the audience member got the name from the Simpsons...

I personally am not a big fan of Fallout Boy... but I have listened to them to attempt to broaden my horizons on newer music... The song makes perfect sense to me... I interpret it as a guy that gets "played" by a girl.. hence "i'm just a notch in your bed post, but you're just a line in a song". He catches her sleeping with another guy "don't worry i'm watching you two from the closet, wishing to be the friction in your jeans" which I think is a cool line... and hence they're "going down, down, in an earlier round, sugar we're goin down swingin". The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is the controversy around whether he says "loaded god complex" or "loaded gun complex" right before he says "**** it and pull it"... It would make sense that he says "loaded gun complex" because he says "i'll be your number one with a bullet.../loaded gun complex\... **** it and pull it" but people still insist he says "loaded god complex".

That video is what made me make this thread.

YEAH! I luuuuv that song!! =D If you listen to it a million times and you listen really REALLY closely...you can make out most of the lyrics. lol
