Later in the evening
As you lie awake in bed
With the echoes from the amplifiers
Ringing in your head
You smoke the day's last cigarette

Welllll...since this question has not been asked over 100000 times I think I'll answer it.

I must say, probably a bit predictable, but, "Pride and Joy" is definetly my favourite. And "Lenny". You could tell through his playing how much he loved her.

Every SRV song overwhelms me, but if I had to choose, Id have to say his remake of Little Wing.

Nobody will believe me on this, but Rob Affuso (Skid's drummer) is my mom's cousin which in turn I guess makes him my cousin. I only met him once a while back before I really cared about music. Skid rocks though!

Texas Flood is, in my opinion, not only the number one SRV song of all time, but also quite possibly one of the top five blues songs of all time. The entire piece is a virtual encyclopedia of blues licks for every kind of player. Man, the whole thing is just a phenomenal work.

Number two and three are Love Struck Baby and Scuttle Buttin' respectively.
I want the bomb
I want the P-funk!

My band is better than yours...

Scuttle Buttin is pure crazyness... Lenny shows his soft side... Texas Flood goes in and out of crazy runs and good slow blues... and Tin Pan Alley is just amazing... I can't choose between those three they're all at the top of my favorite blues song list as well as my favorite Stevie Ray Vaughan songs.
