If i got some cheap amp parts from a good brand of amp like vox(I saw some on ebay) and put them in my cheap peavey would it make it sound a lot better or should i just save for a real vox?

I think you'd be better off saving for a real Vox...

I would just save up for the amp you want. You'll be happier and better off in the end.

A rose by any other name would still be a rose. In essence If a rose was called a turd would it still not smell as sweet?

I'd just save and get the amp you want to get.. unless you are really experienced with electronics.. then you could try to find a schematic of the amp you want somewhere, buy the parts from radioshack and other electronics places. and assemble it yourself. but that would be a huge task, and would require alot of skill and experience in electronics.
