when you feel overwhelmingly pissed off, just ask yourself, is it really worth the anger? is it really something i need to or even should be frustrated about, or is it something that i can just shrug off?[/QUOTE]
Most of the things we get mad about are things we can't change. At least it seems that way.

there's not much of a point in feeling ashamed; sounds cliche, but no one's perfect, we all mess up at some point, and sometimes it's really hard for us to see that ourselves. i've needed to have people tell me off before. the fact that you can look at it and say that you feel bad about it and that you owe apologies puts you way ahead of the curve of most of the people out there, who either won't listen to crticism or advice, or will, but would rather try to just imagine that they never screwed up.
And that's how we grow as people.
