Accurate, dude, in tune is just in tune. You cant get any more accurate than the point when your gutiar is tuned. But as far as accuracy goes my money is on a good tuner, I mean we werent born with a tuning fork in our ears, and I am sure all the people you jam with will appreciate not having to stop, and turn down, and wait for you to retune by ear, and wonder if your tune is the same as theres. I have met very few people who can, "for instance", hit a dead on universal E note 1st, and 6th string by ear,( close maby,) but music aint horseshoes, and every one you play with hopfully has a tuner so they can hit you an open E note that you can tune to them, other wise you all might be playing in F sharp/G flat,or who nows, roll the dice and see where you land. Besides, you will see that once you start using a tuner, and see how much easyer, and , quicker, and more precise, as well as band mate friendly it actually is you will never look back,( unless your tuner gets stolen) ! Tuning by ear is gutiar lesson #1, every one should know how, but once you do know how "move on"
