The best bits are the bits you cant see:
AKG C414 and a Shure KSM44 LDCs and a billion other shure mics (SDCs and dynamics)
2 x 2.5 G5 under the desk
2 x MOTU 828s MK IIs
20 simultaneous ins @ 24/96 or 40 (@ 24/44.1) using the ADAT
plus an RME DIGI PAD8/96 card for another 8
All topped off with Logic Pro 7.1

Nice, what soft-where are you using ?

I started on the PC (with my trusty Korg D1x00s) using Sonar 2.2 and then 3 before moving to Logic.

Cakewalk Music Creator Pro. It's not too bad. While I'm still learning I'm going for ease of operation. What I need to find is the most reliable way to connect them. The soundcard I have on the way (M-Audio 20??) has 1/4, analog L/R, midi, and a small connect like a small printer port. Once I can transfer my Fruity Loops tracks to my Roland and a raw product back to the PC for mastering I should be set. The only rack thing I got is an ADA mp-1 tube preamp but it does it's job well.

That's one sweet setup doc! I'm thinking of upgrading to dual screens myself. I have one 17" LCD monitor now and I can get another one for under 100 bucks. Then I'll just need a new video card that supports the dual screens.

If you are using a PC be careful as the video card's buss access can really play havoc with your systems stability !

Macs are great for two monitors, it is just a shame you cant get Sonar for it !
