joe pettruci rock disipline any good?
was wondering if this dvd is any good, could you tell me what is explained and if its useful?

The DVD is VERY good. Basically he goes through a lot of excercises, warm ups, he goes through his live setup and his approach for writing songs. I've seen lots of videos by pro's but this is by far my favorite one. John Petrucci is a good teacher. I reccomend it personally.

I recommend it too. I've got the old VHS version of it, but I've heard that the DVD had additional stuff on it...

yep its awsome!! I have lots of instructional DVDs and videos but this is by far the best one!!

Rock discipline is one of my favorite guitar educational videos. Not a whole lot to it. I didn't really care to much for the chord creation section though, since at the time I didn't really know how chords were made so I didn't know what he was talking about, but that was just me. Past that it's great.
