As long as you have dual humbuckers now then yes the ZW set will fit. I put a ZW set in my Jackson DKMG. Very Nice...
I am a constant evolving music machine. Oh Man, I just forgot what I was playing. Oh well, on to the next song.

I put a set in my Ibanez Prestige... had to get the tech to do a little body work to allow them to fit (they are actually designed for Les Paul style guitars). They have a nice clear sound but in my Prestige the bridge was very trebly where the neck was very bassy.... two complete extremes... nice sound but flawed in my opinion. You get a lot more out of them from a Les Paul because of the ability to combine the sounds from the pups with the various controls. If you do get a set, remember to also buy a three way toggle switch.

he uses 81/89 combo right?
that should fit in an RR3, but I think you will have to get some routing done (unless the back cavity is big enough) for the battery compartment...check with a tech.

I believe its an 81/85 set... and if you're going from passive to active electronics you will need all the goodies that come with the set.... so I would suggest buying the set brand new rather than snagging some used ones or some others off ebay or something... heres a link to one the set on ebay... it shows what comes with it
