what do you mean by sex string?..
anyway you're probably picking with your elbow, like swinging your arm. if you're not, sorry thats just the most common thing. use your wrist...
get heavy picks. if yu want to play fast you need heave picks.
if thats not it then you're probably hitting your strings too hard, try turning the volume up on your amp a lil bit more so you can hit the strings lightly and still hear a sound. you only need to hit the strings hard enough to make a sound. same goes for your fingers. you only need to put enough pressure to make a sound. thats usually just the weight of your fingers with little added pressure. practice evaluating your body. check your neck, chest, elbow, shoulders, knees, feet... for any discomfort and get in a comfortable position. then you wont feel as tired when playing.
do alternate picking if you're not. try to angle your pick a little bit if its stopping too hard when it hits a string.
my last advice is to practice and you'll get better. playing guitar is not an overnight success. joe satriani played for 15 hours a day with a metronome practicing his scales and modes and everything as fast as he can. and he still does today. just practice and your brain and muscles will get used to how they move and will "know" where to move next.
you're doing a good thing using a metronome keep it up. if that doesnt solve your problem i have more answers but i think this should solve it.
