Ok, I have a line 6 spider II head and a B-52 cab and I've been having problems with the sound cutting off, and I know it's due to speaker impedance mismatching. I've been playing with calculations, and I'm not sure what would work good. The amplifier output is 75W 8 ohms per channel (2 channels) and the cabinet is 8 ohms at 400W (4x12 - 100w per speaker) with two inputs. Can anybody help me figure out how I can rewire it to work?

erm i dont know too much about this but i thought the impendance was the 8 ohms part and if they are both 8ohms then arent they matching? have you tried it with a different cabinate?
what if you wired each input to two speakers and used both output channels from the amp head.
have you tried outputting to one speaker does that cut off?
im sure someone else will help you more than i have sorry

You shouldn't have to rewire anything. Just go from one output of the amp to one output of the cab. If the cab has 2 inputs, it may be a stereo cab, so be sure to plug into the input that is labeled mono....as long as the cab is 8 ohms and the amps output is 8 ohms, it should work fine.
