I'd definetely go for the spring upgrade in the rear trem cavity as mentioned above, also look at new pickups from Kinman, EMG, Fender and LACE and if you want to go further have a look at the TusQ nuts from Graph Tech and Sperzel locking machines for even greater tuning stability especially if you're using the tremelo.
