so about $700-ish for mine, your price will vary based on how fancy you want it (maybe you don't want abalone star inlays like I do :D)

I got this book for christmas. it's geared towards someone making their first guitar. but it only teaches you basic strategies. for example, it teaches you how to make a bolt-neck guitar, it doesn't tell you how to make neck-thru or set neck guitars. but all-in-all it's pretty informative, but I wouldn't use it as an only reference before building a guitar. (btw, if you are going to get it, it's alot cheaper on amazon.com then it is on stewmac.)
