Although my fingers are the perfect size i will try to help peeps with stubby fingers. If you have short fingers the bring your hand further under the neck. It may be uncomfortable but you will adjust to this wuith due time! When i say bring your hard further under the neck, in detail i mean 'If you look your hand is on the bottom (at that view angle when holding in playing position) push it further round so your hand is getting further from you and you should be able to reach the cords that you normally struggle to reach.
