actually, i did it the opposite way.

becuase i learned from tabb books, all that i really needed to know was powerchords and such, so i just worked on those- i had no need to do chords.

but thennn when i got better, and someone threw me a chordsheet (i think it was cumbiya or something :rolleyes: ) i was somewhat stuck. thats when i started on chords...and then i came across this site! :D
