Sign up for the High Bandwidth Subscription man... you won't regret it.
Hell... you'll learn more in a few days watching the videos than you would in a couple of years of taking lessons from a teacher..
For $5, it's worth it even if you just sign up for a month.
Hey you kids! Get outta that Jello tree!!

Hello,

I just got electric guitar yesterday, and I bought a dvd "Getting Started On Electric Guitar with Keith Wyatt". I have learned some basic stuff, E chord, A, D, G, C, E major, A major and so on....But i found it hard by now hardest part is changing chords. All I want to know is how long it takes to start playing songs and whats the best way to learn all this chords..All I want is to play my favorite songs........By the way i'm 18 and I have plenty of time daily to practice it...Thanx a lot

howdy...it takes time and practise...same goes with everything..i know the feeling..its like an impossible thing to do and it can be very discouraging...but presevere my friend...once uve improved that dexterity its smooth sailing...take it slow as of now while switching...go from A-B-C-D-E-F-G and so on...ull notice an improvement of speed gradually..then just do random chords....(not in order)...the more u practise, the faster ull develop...but of course never strain yourself...

weird this was my first thread ever in gt... :D
