Hi, This is only my second time at this site and I love it but I am learning the c/f/g chords and I have small fingers. Are there tricks to holding the guitar neck or in general to make this easier because I can't comfortably spread my fingers across the frets without touching other strings. Need advice

dont hook your thumb over the top. make sure its about half way down the back of the neck (width ways, not length :). that way your hand will have a bit more freedom on the fretboard ;)

Hey!
Pogohead's got it right. You want to arch your palm and fingers over the neck more so you have more access to the entire width of the fretboard, with your thumb being used as a brace.Angus young's got little digits, but does nice work with them.......................................Northwind

my fingers used to be pretty tiny, though they kinda grew a little over time. just keep practising, you'll get it :)
