and then use the top of the pichup as a stop for the tip of my pick, essentially "dragging" my pick along the top of my pickup. This seems so easy that it's almost like cheating. Am I the only one who does this?
Does anyone else pick like this?
I have these wide pickups on my guitar aprox, 2 1/2"x1 1/2" and I have been able get more speed by raising my pickup hight to aprox 1/8" below my strings

Whenever I play the neck pickup (22frets) I find it best sound with you play exacly above the neck pickup cause thats where the 24th fret is soposed to be. So it makes for a great neck harmonic and clean tone. And good for sweeping tone.
