Arpeggio Position Help

im working on my guitar theory. and im trying to learn as much as i possibly can about arpeggios, because metal is the ****, and i love sweeping. i know all of the first position major and minor arpeggios, but have no idea how many postions there are, or how many other ways to play them.

HELP!

how many postions are there for major arpeggio?

perfect them first. they tend to go with most chords or chord progressions in metal :)

i know 2, possibly 3. could be loads more but i dont know them
