I'm rather pleased I've never heard of Larry - he sounds like a tosser ;)

Never heard of the other guy either but he speaks my language.

Well, you guys know Im as conservative as they come, and I like Larry, but I say shut up and sing, be funny, or whatever it is the people on the left are supposed to do, and Ill say it for my own side. We dont need Larry as a representative for our party. Seems like a real nice and funny guy, but not exactly a brain surgeon. So Larry, you had this one comin to ya my man.
Dont shoot yourself in the head.

I think the best thing to take away from this is that Larry is a poser. Raised in the Nebraska, not the south. Who knew? Then again his act was way to stereotypical southerner. I should've seen him for the fraud he was.
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.

Actually, the best thing to take away from this is go buy something David Cross has created, I'll guarantee that it's hilarious. I mean, did you ever watch him on "Arrested Development?"

I agree, I believe he gives rednecks or southerners a negative connotation in a way to those who might not know what a lot of the people he represents actually behave like. But I think Larry is very funny and just see it as entertainment and he has my kind of humor. I like Jeff Foxworthy more though.
The greatest enemy to what you can know, is what you already know.

It's not how good you play, its how well you play it.
