Hi all,
I am having a problem with the G string on my Epiphone L/P standard.
The string always goes out of tune when bending,

You will forever be messing with the G string. It is the most troublesome of the bunch. If you are playing a new set of strings, it should get better after it stretches a bit.
I am a constant evolving music machine. Oh Man, I just forgot what I was playing. Oh well, on to the next song.

I had a funny joke about g-strings but I decided not to say it. I had a problem like that once but that was on my old crap guitar. I dont know if there is anything you can do to fix that or not. And like Buda said, once the strings stretch it will be better.

Later in the evening

With the echoes from the amplifiers
Ringing in your head
You smoke the day's last cigarette

thought this sounded kinky :P

try this. detune the string so its a bit floppy. get a pencil and rub the underside of the string with the graphite. this'll lubricate it.

tune the string back up, then pull gently from underneath. it'll go out of tune. tune it up again. pull it again. keep going till it's not really going out. smile cos it sounds cool :D

Maybe if you put your g string on right your nuts won't move so much. :D
