yeah,hard to beleive....

this is coming from a hardcore dedicated dimebag fan and worshipper.

on dec. 10 last year, two of my buddies came up to me with a grim look on their faces.they began explaining to me that dime was shot and killed last night. I didnt want to beleive something like this, so i checked out about ten websites before beleiving that it happened. i was really depressed for a while after learning this because alot my inspiration comes from his playing and style. dimebag was the reason that i picked up a guitar in the first place.

after finding this out, the three of us bought enough booze to get an entire army drunk, while drinking all we could do was talk about dime, and how much he inspired us. we also listened to every pantera song possibe.that night i heard the song "floods" and ill never forget it. the guitar solo on that song actually brought tears to my eyes becuase of the passion he puts into it. that was when i realized that metal had lost one of its last true guitar heroes.

this weekend we're getting together again, to listen to, and appreciate the music that dimebag created.

check out the solo on "floods". all i can say is its killer, just plain killer...

R.I.P dime.......

I can't believe it's already been a year. Where does the time go? Dime's loss was a great one. I've got a pic of him in my guitar room to remind me of two things. One, what a badass Dime was and Two, life is short so play hard!
I am a constant evolving music machine. Oh Man, I just forgot what I was playing. Oh well, on to the next song.

And what better way could anyone go?

Now, onto my thoughts. All I can say is it's a shame. I never considered myself one of bigger Pantera fan, but I do have my favorites and to accumulate such a fan base is no task acheived by bull****ting and getting lucky. And to see something like this happen to a perfectly good musician is just saddening. Hats off.

Maybe a little later in the set...

But doing what you love in front of a room full of people who love you...

If only I could be that lucky.

It isn't good that he died, but Dime did die a good death.

I cant believe it has been a year already...wow...I remember watching the cemetary Gates , Walk and This love videos over and over when I heard.

as for the legends? Its not only the legends man, its just that those are the ones that regular guys remember...apart from family and friends, no one else is really bothered by the death of a regular guy...but millions of fans care about Dime, Randy, Allman,Kurt,Jimi, Jim,Van Zant...oh we could go on...

Because of the very busy holiday season , it's hard to go online and post due to visitors and shopping.......I almost forgot to pay tribute to my idol Dimebag Darrel, He is really a great loss.

RIP Dime...I can honestly say he is the best Trash metal guitarist of his era.

I was just listening to Dimes amazing guitarwork.

Pls check out this great songs by Pantera:

Cowboys From Hell

Cemetery Gates

I'm Broken

Becoming

I'll Cast A Shadow

Cat Scratch Fever

I'll Cast A Shadow

Goddamn Electric

Hole In The Sky

Dimebag rules............peace!
