I would like a suggested type of case, brand of case etc, or an overall solution to this tiny problem.

I have a Bluetube DP tube preamp that i want to have in a hardshell case that i can keep it in on the gig. I want to be able to plug it in, not overheat, and then unplug everything, keep the cables inside the case, and close it up and im done.

The problem is, most cases like this have only soft foam, and im told more than 10 minutes of use of the preamp with the foam surrounding it will overheat it; i thought about putting a piece of wood underneath it, but i thought it might take away from the modularity of the design, where to put the wood when im done, etc...wouldnt be as soft on the preamp in transit if i left it there...

Does anyone know of a hard case that would protect it and keep the plugs available and have airflow for the unit during gig-time? My soft cases work fine for the PodXT and the guitar, but i want a hardshell for this one -- its expensive and i love it =)

Thanks.
