guitar body shapes
i know this sounds really cheesy, and i will probably get flamed for this, but it has been a burning question for a long time. does the shape of the guitar body affect its overall tone? i know, i've been playing for 14 years and that sounds like a stupid question. just one of those things i have never known and would like to know for my own sake.

for the most pasrt, no. there may be a little bit of difference depending on the thickness and mass of it ( a thicker guitar will sound "fuller" then a thin one) but the shape has nothing to do with it.

to an extend it does. But then again everyting on a guitar influences the tone.
Stuff like paint, hardware, shape, size, glue, stickers, ...ect all have an influence. But that is like 2% of the overall tone when talking about electric guitars. Alot comes from the actual wood of choice and the pickups. Especially the pickups.
