also, just because two amps have the same tube doesn't mean they'll sound the same. in fact, a majority of amps out there use 12AX7's for their pre-amp tubes, and the differences between them can be night and day.

yes, I don't use my metal-zone on a dirty channel. it warns for that. but I also like to use that new-amp on stage, well for practising with my band. so I do need an amp that has enough power and Watt's. most of the time, when you have an amp with a good clean sound, you can put every pedal on it. I have seen guy's with the best pedals of the world and still don't have a good sound because of their amp. That is what I hope to find in the Vox VR30R or maybe the Fender FM65R.

I guess I'll have to wait for Christmas....
