Hi,

Still working on recording this classical guitar. This composition isn't quite as simple and melodic as my last. I hope you like it. It's not really a classical composition, just something that I recorded on a classical guitar.

Astounding. Amazing work Julian!

I think he means that the download doesn't work. I've added another link at the top of the page in case the original link doesn't work

Thanks for the positive comments by the way! I really appreciate it.

Ok. My apologies rockonn! I was just dumbfounded that someone wouldn't like it. I'm very sorry.

Oooh that was a gorgeous song...u had me hooked from the first five notes. I'm not so sure about the parts from 1:11-1:31...they sounds like someone fiddling through scales and I personally think it would be better without it. Or...maybe you don't have to take it out but if you could spruce it up a bit I would like it more...I'm not really diggin it at the moment. Everything else tho is top notch and I would love to have music like this whenever I needed to chill out. It's good stuff...it's making me consider buying a classical guitar. I just love the way it sounds. Good job on the overall peice...got anything else? :D

Do you have that tabbed out?

Got any more recordings to share with us? :D

Oh yeah, could you recommend any acoustic artists for me to listen to? I found your piece quite inspiring.

Wow thanks for the positive feedback! In answer to your questions, I don't have it tabbed out yet sorry. though I do have another recording that I made with this guitar:

http://www.geocities.com/thejuju2000/guitar2.mp3
or
http://rapidshare.de/files/8744410/guitar2.mp3.html

The guitar I'm using is this:
http://www.yamahamusic.com.au/products/musicalinstruments/guitars/silent/nylon.asp

it essentially sounds pretty much like a normal classical guitar, but it's got advantages for recording.

I wish I could recommend some acoustic artists to you, but embarrassingly, I haven't really listened to much classical guitar. You might notice a slight jazz influence in my music.

Hello Julian Vickers,
your composition (the one you posted at the beginning of this thread) was indeed very pleasant and beautiful. I loved hearing it. Im just an infant in Guitar and no matter how hard I try, I've never been able to play a set of chords smoothly without gaps, nor could I get my strumming atleast half as melodious as yours.

Please post more of your creations.

Regards,
Harsha.

Wow!!!Wow!!!!Well, first thank god theres another classical guitarist here(i mean.. i play rock, i play my electric more than my nylon stringed guitar) but you know, its good to know theres someone else who plays the smae style as you. And second, this is amazing, I'n still listening to it. Incredible work!
