anyone had any furtune using music brokers?
i was just wondering what your opinion was on using music brokers to help market you music. thanks larry.

If it's somebody who's pushing your music for you it sounds like a good idea.
I'd want to know the persons qualifications first, how many other clients he represents, what contacts he has in the business.. and especially, how much it's going to cost first. There's no way I'd sign a contract or anything for somebody to represent me without reading it very carefully first and I think I'd want to see some results first.

As above, and they should ONLY get a cut from what YOU make from THEIR efforts. If you have to pay them upfront to promote you then they may as well be selling snake oil.
