Wiring problem on my Tele
Ok, I re-wired my tele so it has a humbucker in the bridge and a single coil on the neck. I put in a push/pull tone pot to switch the humbucker from double coil to single coil. Everything works fine except the push/pull pot. It has no effect on the tone whatsoever. The push/pull will switch the pickup from one to two coils, but there is no change in tone when I spin the knob. The single coil pickup works fine. The volume pot works fine. The three-way switch works fine. Any suggestions as to what I did wrong?

I'm sure there should be a capacitor in series with the tone pot, I'll have a look at GuitarNuts.com - where there is diagrams, schematics and photos - i'll get back to you

Yeah, checkout GUITARELECTRONICS.com, there,s Diagrams of heaps of Tele's.
Normally the tone pot is connected to the pick up selector switch and the end terminal of the pot goes through a .022microfarrad (.022uf) capacitor which connects to ground ( the pot body )
As you turn the tone pot, more and more treble frequencies short through the capacitor to ground - giving more and more bass.
