I chalenge you to tell me the name of the Scale/Mode,
By analizing the following harmonized chords.
Gmaj
AbMaj7
Bdim
Cm
Ddim
Ebaug5
Fm7
It is nothing impresive, but you might be surprised of how much or how little you know.
I hope to see some answers. ;)
Someday I`ll play like in my dreams.

How about the 3rd mode of Eb Melodic minor?

Or, Root, flat 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, b6th, b7th.

Unfortunately not.
The chord built on the third degree of the Eb melodic minor is a "Gb", and I have a "Gmaj".
The chord built on the fifth of the Eb melodic minor is a "Bb", and I have a "Bdim" in my progression.
Someday I`ll play like in my dreams.

I'll take a stab and say Mixolydian since it is a Maj scale with a b7

A mixolydian has just one diminished chord(built on the third degree of the mode).
And I have two diminished chords plus an Aug5.

Ok. Here is the Harmonic Major Scale In the key of G#/Ab.
Ab-Bb-C-Db-Eb-E-G-Ab
The notes in darker letters are the perfect intervals, and those are the ones that you normally sharp to get an augmented. Or you can sharp a major to get an augmented, but none of those correspond to my progression.
So if you play the augmented fourth of the G#/Ab Harmonic Major, you would be playing "D".
So it`s not the augmented fourth of the G# harmonic Major.

are the notes of the scale G# B C D D# E F G# ......?

if so they are unfamiliar intervals to me, but that's what I found those chords to be built on.

No. Those are not the notes of the scale. You have a G# and I have a natural G.
Notice that I choose to call the sixth degree of the scale/mode Eb rather than the enharmonic D#.
And you are missing the Ab note.

Gmaj = G-B-D------------->???? is it a major chord or maj7
AbMaj7 = Ab-C-Eb-G
Bdim = B-D-F
Cm = C-Eb-G
Ddim = D-F-Ab
Ebaug5 = Eb-G-B
Fm7 = F-Ab-C-Eb

Ab-B-C-D-Eb-F-G-Ab Im right?

Ab-B-C-D-Eb-F-G-Ab Im right?

Good job figuring out the notes that make each chord.
The first chord can be either:
G=[G-B-D]
or
G7=[G-B-D-F]

The question was. What is the name of the Scale/Mode?
And the root is not Ab.

It's Cminor with a diminished leading tone chord. Why you don't have the diminished seventh on that B diminished is beyond me, it would help you lead into it... then again... Of course, it could just be C harmonic Minor since there's no Bb. Well, it IS C harmonic minor, but I'm gonna call it Cminor with a diminished leading-tone chord because that's also true of those notes and it sounds much smarter.

My band is better than yours...

Well, if you use the leading tone of the minor, you have a harmonic minor. Don`t you?
If you have the root on "C"; then yes, a Bdim7 chord would lead you right back to the "home chord".
But this is not the case because I don`t have the root on "C".
