The SG is a poorly-executed example of a bad design. The neck-body joint is so weak that this POS axe won't stay in tune, and threatens to self-destruct if it ever falls over. Walk away. The tone can be replicated by any mahogany guitar with decent pickups.

You know, I never realised it, but the Lord is right...have you ver seen a second hand sg (not even vintage necessarily) Sg, that hadnt had it's neck re_attatched? Of course not...definately the weakest neck I've come across...and its true...most mohag h-h guitars can sound similar if your work with them.
