Yes thanks very much for your advice, the problem is with me is that apart from strumming an Am, C, Dm, Em or G apart from strumming the chord shapes out of a book I know nothing else still, for me there really is too much jargon that I just can't comprehend maybe I'm a dummy but I just can't do scales I have basically no guitar knowledge at all, all I find myself doing is copying chords of well known songs and strumming away with them trying to form new tunes but as I say I am frustrated and pissed off big time because I am desperate to learn the guitar at the very least better than what I do now at least so I have a knowlege of how to play, but I need it in really basic terms to understand otherwise I am totally lost and will probably be this way for good.

P.S I did attend a few lessions in the past but I found the it no better the teaching was poor ad I just have not got the time or the money to have any more lessions at the moment. :( :confused:
