been playing guitar for a while but i'm new to this forum. i had a question i was hoping someone could help me with. got a song i'm in the process of learning and there's two chords in it that i'm having trouble finding the shapes for, Dmaj9/F# and Dmaj9/G. While i'm pretty decent at putting most chords together, sometimes i have a little trouble figuring out chords in this type format ( [some chord] / [some note here] )...if that makes sense...was wondering if anyone knew either of these chords or had some advice on how to form these types of chords.
