I have recently bought a vintage 67 cry baby wah pedal and when i engage the wah it cuts my volume i would say by a third. any suggestions?

My Jimi Hendrix wah does that, that is why I bought the 535Q, because it has the 14dB boost AND a volume selector.

yeah, alot of wah's do that. i'd suggest a booster pedal or just...turn your amp up lol.

Try either an MXR EQ (6 band) or a Micro Amp. Both work well for this application. But it just gets harder to turn your wah and another pedal on at the same time.

My Dunlop wah has a slight volume drop when engaged and is unfortunately a tone sucker t'boot. I'm replacing it with a Budda wah; true bypass,no volume drop, cool purple color,ect.
