I saw the earlier review of the C-1 classic or black jack...whichever it may be. I was looking at the exotic. Does anyone have any opinions on this my budget is about 700 but if it is really worth it i will step my price up a hundred to grab it. Im open to other ideas :D

I think it would be a good sounding guitar. I believe it would be a little warmer/darker toned than my Blackjack, since it has a mahogany neck rather than maple. I believe the maple cap is more of a veneer/laminate than a full maple cap, which won't add much to the tone of the guitar (not a good or bad thing). I have no idea about it's pickups, but I can vouch for Schecters quality and playability.

I have been very impressed with Schecters stuff, my roomate(and band mate) in London had a C1+ which was an awesome guitar (until it got stolen...grrr). I didnt like the Blackjack series as much as the c1+ he had...but for the price I found all Schecters were worth a look.
