help

i am a big beginner what should i start first know any exercises

OKAY.

so heres how i started.
i found a song i liked, and learned to play it.

i actually started with purple haze (Jimi Hendrix) and then i went to you shook me all night long (AC/DC) and then went to smells like teen spirit (Nirvana)

of course, i had been playing on and off for about a year before that. then one day i taught myself tab, printed off purple haze, and got hooked.

i guess i taught myself powerchords first, then went to real chords..... most people do it opposite but it worked for me

i always say get a teacher- i got a few friends who got a teacher and i was amazed at how much they learned in so short a time.....
