learn some jazz man. even if you dont like the sound, it will help you so much with knowing your theory (scales, notes on the board, everything) same with classical.

I couldn't agree with you more, Rockonn91. With even a bit of theory you can create your own sound for you and/or your band. Don't be afriad of theory, or you'll sound like everyone else.
