What are some things i can learn?

Hello, im some what of a starter at the guitar. I know most of the common chords but still practicing. I also know some songs such as Smoke on the water,Blitzerk Bob, and some Cream. I would like to know what i should start learning next, im working also on Bar chords and geting my E and A chord whole steps and half steps down.I been only playing for 3 months and wanting very much to get alot better, whould love somone to give me lessons.Also, I have a Fender Startcaster, dont let the name fool you not Strocaster but "Starcaster", its only a $259 guitar, wanting to upgrade, would like to know some opinions on what should i buy next.

I`ll say start learning all about the Major Scale.
That is:
Step Pattern.
Intervals
Positions
Arpeggios, etc.

I mean, there`s a lot you can learn.
Asking what you sould learn next is an open question (too open).
So, do your research on any topic you are interested in. And then ask more concrete questions.
Good thing is you have curiosity and hunger for musical knowledge, and you can get good advise here in the forums.

If I was to recommend a guitar, I`ll say: a guitar with 24 frets, and the brand and features are a matter of how much you can afford.
