Welcome aboard!

I can almost gaurantee you'll find whatever you're after here, (assuming you're looking for guitars....although we do have a lot of talks that have nothing to do with guitars thinking about....yea, anything you're after you'll find!) It's friendly, informative and almost always entertaining.

Hope to see you about and enjoy!

Regards,
Chris.

Hey Guys,
I'm a begginer here and I'd really love learn how to play electric guitar. :) I'm using my brothers old one and I just typed in online guitar lessons and found this wonderful site. And just so you know I'm only 13 and a strong Christian so please no cussing around me. I'm sure that wont be a problem. ;) So my real question is... do you recommend any one instructor for begginers? If you do you know what to do. Thanks a bunch

Welcome. No need to worry about cursing. Its a pretty clean site, but sometimes they come out. You could check out the begginers section here:http://www.guitartricks.com/beginners.php.

Best thing to do is go to the absolute beginners section:

Welcome to guitartricks you two! I usually have a pirate picture to go with a greeting, but I feel it's getting old and losing its luster.

we're not allowed to say the bad "bad" words, but the smaller ones slip by. btw, who's idea was it to invent swear words anyway... I mean, if you look at their meanings, most of them aren't that bad, and mean the same thing as other words that we say that aren't offensive

poop
female dog
to have intercourse with

seriously... was what I just said bad? no... so why would words meaning those things be considered bad? argh, it pisses me off

Society...if you look across various cultures you'll see certain words, although translated, have different meanings and conertations (spelling?!) I remember being in Italy where the translation for the "F" word was used by almost everyone from the age of 6 - 60 quite freely - and inoffensively. Horse's for courses, eh?

To quote a much funnier man than I, "There's nothing wrong with swearing - a well timed &!£k can be most entertaining", (Arthur Smith)...make of that what you will!

God, I bore myself sometimes....
