So I decided to splash out recently and get a proper home studio going, here's what I got:

M-Audio Delta 1010 sound card (rack mountable)
Samson studio rack amp with Tannoy Reveal passive speakers
Yamaha SpX1000 digital effects rack (way cool)
Mesa Boogie Rectifier Recording preamp rack (kicks ass like nothing I've seen)

Already have a pc with Cubase SX and a hell of a lot of plug-ins.
Ancillaries include a PODxt, Evolution MK-425C midi keyboard and a Digitech GNX-1, a trusty Tascam US-428 (don't think I can use this anymore as a controller if I am going through teh Delta 1010, tell me if I wrong because this makes like so much easier with Cubase), a Marshall 100DFX, Line 6 DM4 stomp box and last but not least by personal favourite... an Ibanez Jem Bad Horsie (sweet).

I just got the rack mountable gear but have yet to set up "correctly". Any engineers or studio heads out there got any advice on how to put this all together? Starting with the guitar, what order should of gear should I be pluggin into? eg. guitar to Rectifier, to Yamaha effects rack to preamp etc.... what about the soundcard? Where does that come in? Then the standard stomp boxes... where do they come in?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance guys!
